The Pointe of Sainte-Marine
The Pointe of Sainte-Marine: Upon leaving the hotel, turn left towards Pussou Beach, then follow the coastal path to the tip!
You can continue along the Customs Officers’ Path, which leads to Ile-Tudy.
If you wish to watch the sunrise in summer, stop at the end of the coast.

you cannot miss
The Odet river
Leaving the hotel, walk until you reach the stairs to the right of the Café de la Cale.
Once at the top, turn right and follow the road until the end.
From here, a path begins along the river through the Roscouré woods.
Boarding in the P’tit Bac ferry to cross the Odet River
and pass from the right bank to the left bank in just a few minutes.
This new boat, built by Vedettes de l’Odet in 2016,
allows you to travel with your bicycles
and pushchairs if you have young children.
There is also a P’tit Bac ferry from Île-Tudy to Loctudy.

Just a few steps from our hotel, discover the fleet of boats, with or without a licence, which can be booked online by the hour, half-day, full day or whatever suits you.
Experienced skippers are at your disposal to offer you an wonderful time on the water.
Just 20 minutes from Sainte-Marine, embark from Concarneau or Port La Forêt to discover the coastline aboard maxi catamarans. Accessible to everyone, each trip is led by a professional crew.
Even if you are a beginner, you can participate in the exercises in complete safety and fully enjoy this unique experience on the water. Full day in the Glénan Archipelago, half day in Concarneau Bay or 2-hour evening cruise.
Vedettes de l’Odet
at Bénodet
Open from April to September
You can easily get to the Vedettes de l’Odet or the small ferry in just 10 minutes from the hotel. You’ll be able to see amazing places like the Glénan Islands, the River Odet, and Concarneau Bay.
Cruises can be chosen according to your desires. A simple return trip to the Glénan Islands or a guided tour to learn about the history and landscapes of the region.

Only 20 minutes from Sainte-Marine, embark on cruises that combine discovery and relaxation.
Enjoy the beauty of the sea while exploring the history and culture of the places you visit.
Departures are from the ports of Guilvinec and Loctudy, with routes extending to the outskirts of the port of Saint-Guénolé, passing by the magnificent Eckmühl’s lighthouse or the charming Odet river.
Special cruises, such as sunset cruises or ones to watch the fireworks, are also available for unforgettable experiences on the water.
Eating locally
Haliotika, fishing town
Fishing town of 800 m² to learn everything about fishing and seafood.
Half an hour from our hotel, climb aboard the reconstructed trawler ‘Bara Breizh’ and dive into the daily life of Bigouden fishermen. Explore the boat and meet the crew.
Then check out the new trail ‘Everything is good in fish’, an experience that promotes know-how, eco-friendly innovations and the complete use of all parts of the fish.
Visit the Guilvinec fish market and watch the auctions live.
Situated in Pouldreuzic (30 minutes from our hotel), take a look at the shop and museum which detail the history of this little blue box.
Hénaff pâté is an iconic Breton speciality, prepared since 1907 in Pouldreuzic using traditional family methods.

Biscuiterie du Moustoir – François Garrec: Located in Bénodet, visitors can observe traditional production methods, with guided visits and tastings.
Biscuiterie de Quimper : Artisanal workshop in the heart of Quimper (Locmaria) where you can watch crêpes dentelle, kouign amann and other Breton biscuits being made.
Biscuiterie de Bénodet : Artisanal biscuit factory in Benodet offering tours and tastings of Breton specialities such as palets, galettes and sablés.
Biscuiterie de Pont l’Abbé: Artisanal shop located a few minutes from the Hôtel du Bac
Cider Houses
Kerné, the oldest artisan cider house in Finistère, is located just 30 minutes from the Hôtel.
Manoir du Kinkiz is an artisan cider house located in Quimper, founded on family heritage.
Les Vergers de Kermao are a family-run cider producer since 1991, located in Gouesnac’h, between Quimper and Bénodet.
Maison de Perguet, based in Fouesnant, is a traditional craft born from a family heritage.
